Nutrition

What you feed your dog does influence the quality of your dog’s coat. The coat of your dog will tell the story of the quality of his diet.  A meal made from brown rice and chicken is a healthy, natural diet for a dog that can be fed two or three days a week to enhance the quality of the dog’s coat. You can give also one teaspoon of soybean, corn or cottonseed oil to your dog’s food every day. This can also reduce shedding.

May be you can try adding fish oil one capsule a day to the water for about 2 weeks.

You will see your dogs coat starting getting shiny and very soft. Once his coat had recovered and the itching stopped, you can reduce the amount of fish oil you give him. One fish oil capsule a week is enough to keep his coat stays shiny and shot.

Grooming

Grooming your dog is very important to his hygiene. Grooming your dog involves bathing, combing, drying, and cutting the coat. Make sure to use a shampoo that is specifically designed for dogs, human shampoos are sometime too harsh for dogs. Consider the benefits of conditioner. Proper drying is an important to make sure the coat looks its best. Brushing your dog often will help keep his coat looking great. Long-haired dogs or dogs with a thick fur may need to brush twice a week. Never brush your dog’s coat when it’s wet, it causes matting and loss of hair.

For extra large dog houses, you may need to custom order in advance since most pet stores don’t provide these. Alternatively, you might want to build a doghouse yourself since it can be cheaper than buying one.

You can make these houses even more comfortable with the use of dog accessories such as a comfortable dog bed and his favorite toy.

Decide which material best suit your needs. There are many different materials used to make dog houses, such as: plastic, wooden, PVC and galvanized steel. Some are manufactured with insulation and others are not.

Insulated dog houses

Most insulated doghouses are made from top quality wood. The most common material used is cedar wood since it can retain heat better.

Indoor dog houses are not just for dogs to relax or sleep in at night but they are also great for training the puppy. These dog houses are a great way to control your dog’s movement.

Outdoor dog house

An outdoor dog house will become a permanent shelter, sanctuary for your dog. It gives you a place to put your dog’s water dish in which it will not be fouled by leaves, dirt, or grass and where other animals can not drink it. If you are looking for a comfortable place for your dog to stay outdoors, you may want to consider an insulated doghouse.Consider also the strong construction.

Many owners are considering another housing combination: luxury dog houses.  The concept is similar to standard dog houses, as they offer shelter to protect the dog from the elements. However, they achieve this objective in a much more creative way. You can make luxury dog houses even more effective if you install an air conditioner or a heater within the housing unit.
