Dog Cage -  A  Private Domain

Common types of dog cages are the folding dog cage, metal dog cage and also nylon. There are also many new design and styles of dog cages available to provide your pet with the same security and comfort as traditional ones. You should purchase a cage made to of the best quality and durable material so that your dog can use it for a long time.

Deciding on what kind of dog cage you want is sometimes the hardest decision, it is naturally dependent on the size and weight of your dog, and your budget, of course.

The cage environment is a great solution for giving your dog a private, quiet space. It is most important to have the cage ready when your puppy arrives in your home for the first time. For puppies, a dog cage seems to be a very good option to protect them from getting hurt.

A cage is his home where he will sleep at night in his private domain.

You can also buy accessories for the cages. They have different kind of blankets and pillows that will make your pet feel like he or she is the king of the cage. Put some chewy toys in the cage for him/her to play with.  If the dog is confident then it will be a lot easier to train him. He will feel secure and happy in his own cage. You can buy a designer cage cover to make the crate more private and decorative.

Do not consider that placing dogs in cages is a cruel thing, actually it is safer for your dog which only have limited supervised time in your house. There are electric cables and all sorts of thing that could hurt and injure your dog if left unattended.

Keep a dog in the cage since beginning, is a best training that makes your dog aware that your beds are not the place that he should use for playing or sleeping. He/she will learn which places where he should not sit or sleep. The cage should be just large enough for the dog or puppy  to sleep and stand up as well as turn around.

Use a dog cage correctly and it establishes restrictions for your dog when you are not home to watch his behavior. A cage can also define a safe area for your puppy dog to be in if you’re having company and you have a “less obedient” puppy dog
